Meet the Founder~
I built Grants Haven from a firsthand understanding of the challenges facing East Africa’s nonprofits and businesses seeking to expand their impact. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Community Development and have extensive experience as a research professional, working closely with grassroots organisations and communities for years. I have seen how many brilliant social projects and promising enterprises struggle to secure financial backing, and it’s never because they lack vision; it is because finding legitimate funding opportunities takes time and difficulty navigating the complex technical requirements of the donor world. I built Grants Haven as a reliable resource for well-researched funding opportunities, along with useful guides and toolkits to help founders secure the financial support they need to achieve their missions. I aim to help nonprofits and entrepreneurs spend less time searching for funding and more time creating social changes in their communities.
